Alitalia is suspending their services temporarily between Los Angeles and Rome. It will affect all five round-trip flights between Los Angeles International to Rome Fiumicino . Services are set to resume on March 26, 2009, and Tom Winfrey, airport spokesperson, told the publication: "We look forward to Alitalia's return in March."

Singapore Airlines said will reduce fuel surcharges for passengers in business and economy class, across all routes, for tickets issued on or after Friday.
This is the airline's second cut since September, after a sustained fall in the price of jet fuel.

Passengers can also send and receive text messages, and use their Blackberry-type devices to send and receive e-mails, Malaysia Airlines, or MAS, said in a statement.
It said the airline teamed up with AeroMobile, a British company, to become the first Asian carrier to offer in-flight mobile phone and data services via satellite with passengers using their own equipment.
