Jet Airways and United Airlines Agree to frequent flyer partnership

Effective November 15, 2008, Jet Airways will forge a frequent flyer partnership with United Airlines.With this partnership, Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege members may now earn and save JPMiles on the entire global network of United Airlines.United Airlines operates more than 3,200 flights a day to more than 200 U.S. domestic and international destinations from its hubs in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington D.C.Similarly, United Airlines’ Mileage Plus members may now earn and save their miles while enjoying Jet Airways’ renowned service and in-flight product on its services to 64 destinations in India and beyond.

Delta airlines announced that it will introduce 15 new international routes on next summer from united states to various destination. Delta recently takeover of Northwest to create the world's biggest airline by traffic. Due to weak domestic economy, targeting international routes are more profitable. Delta said it will add the more new international flights between the united States and Japan, Kenya, South Africa, Liberia, Nigeria, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

AirTran Airways Announces New Checked Baggage Policy

"Effective November 12, 2008, for travel on or after December 5, 2008, customers will be charged $15 for their first checked bag. Customers who purchased tickets on or before November 11, 2008, will not be charged for their first checked bag. AirTran Airways will continue to charge $25 for a second checked bag and $50 for each additional bag."

Allegiant Air announced new nonstop jet service from Owensboro to Orlando. beginning Feb. 18, 2009. The low–fare carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to the Sunshine State, with introductory fares as low as $69* each way.

out of Owensboro."

The new flights to Orlando will operate twice weekly, with service Wednesday and Saturday. Flights will depart Owensboro–Daviess County Regional Airport at 9:20 a.m. arriving in Orlando Sanford International Airport at 12:20 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 7:35 a.m. arriving in Owensboro at 8:40 a.m.
